Chrome is bringing up Err_Cert__Symantec
Topic posted on: 07-12-2018 at 12:06
Hi,
I bought an SSL certificate with no issues for a couple of years but not I get the following message blocking my website to Chrome users:
Your connection is not private
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from www.cutemaps.co.uk (for example, passwords, messages or credit cards). Learn more
NET::ERR_CERT_SYMANTEC_LEGACY
Note the certificate isn't Symantec but Trustprovider. B.V. So when I look for the solutions they all mention to get a replacement for Syamntec which I'm obviously unable to do as it was issued from you and by Trustprovider as I understand? https://knowledge.digicert.com/alerts/ALERT2566.html
When you click on the 'not secure' lock it shows the certificate is valid and says 'This certificate is OK.' but is obvious all red and blocking my site so I'm at a loss.
This is losing me sales daily. At first it was only happening before the checkout page but now it is before accessing the whole site. Please advise.
Hi, please request a reissue of the SSL certificate on: https://www.versio.uk/customer/ssl/manage/52903&a=reissue . You'll then receive a new SSL certificate to install on your domain.
